Redefining 'Beautiful'

Redefining Beautiful
"My mother always told me I was fat as a little girl. I have never felt beautiful."

I have heard these words from many women that I have had the honor to photograph. The thing is, we are taught how to perceive our bodies. Our own mothers were taught how to perceive bodies. We come from a linage of teachings that are more often than not unauthentic and untrue.

I ask: if we, as mothers, are concernced for our daughter's health, let's take her to the park. Let's re-invent how we eat. Let's dance several times a day. Let's LEAD by example how to be active and how to LOVE our bodies.

Let's teach our children to see beauty in all shapes and may we encourage our daughters to tell themselves that they are BEAUTIFUL and encourage them to tell others they are BEAUTIFUL too! May we nurture the seeds of self love for our children so that they can feel wonderful and help others to feel wonderful too!

One of the best ways to teach our daughters to feel beautiful: to genuinely FEEL beautiful ourselves in this miraculous skin which we have been blessed to live in, to dance with, to cry from, to love from.

How do you feel beautiful?

Our little Sisters need Help

Our little Sisters need our Help!
To All,

As we are all working on our Togetherness, women empowerment and creating our Circles... There are Sisters in this world that need our help. Our younger sisters , some of them still children, are being locked every single day, in India and other Asian countries. These young girls are locked and being Sexual Abused.
Help to free our little Sisters!
Every day millions of children worldwide are the victims of various forms of violence, abuse, and exploitation. The young victims of these practices are deeply affected, physically and psychologically.  Many children are particularly vulnerable to become victims of such serious acts of violence, due to the harsh conditions in which they live.

Free a Girl gives priority to the fight against child prostitution and helps girls escape the exploitative conditions.  To achieve this, Free a Girl supports several local partner organizations in Asia, Brazil, Moldova, Cameroon, as well as the Netherlands – in which the foundation operates.  These local organizations rescue, rehabilitate, reintegrate, and/or prevent victims of prostitution.

Watch this Video

To liberate thousands of children in India a good friend of Wild Woman Sisterhood, Eelko, is voluntarily locked up in a box. The idea is that he will experience how these girls are living. By doing this he raises funds and awareness he reaches out for people that will sponsor him. The money goes to the Free a Girl initiative.

This foundation scans the girls, frees them and provide good care and future prospects. Free a Girl has helped thousands of girls escape their exploiters.  Girls are freed every week by rescue teams in Cambodia, India and Thailand.  Free a Girl has also made possible the expansion or construction of new shelters in the Netherlands, Bangladesh, India, and Cambodia.  Still, more girls need help.  Our partners assist girls in making a fresh start by providing education, vocational training, and support in starting their own business or finding a job.

Lets support Eelko, help him free our Sisters and Donate what we can miss!
Every little bit can help..

Note: The page is Dutch, but most of the site you can also read in Englisch

Thank you in advance for your contributions
to create freedom for all of us!

Full Flower Moon & Lunar Eclipse, May 25 -2013

Welcome Sisters! (and Brothers!)
.. to our Wild Woman Sisterhood Full Moon Guidance

Happy Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse in Flower Moon May 25th, 2013

We are having a Lunar Eclipse SuperMoon in Sagittarius
We have been in quite an Eclipse portal! The final 3rd is here. Eclipses usually come in pairs but we’ve had 3 this time around and I know we are all feeling the activation from the winds of change! This last one is also a SuperMoon as you will read below and it is sure to be felt.

Welcome!

We are Grateful to have you all here!

Here are the Astral Insights from the inspiring readers of the planetary bodies
(Source: Mysticmama.com)

“The Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse on May 24- 25 is one of the most powerful Full Moons of 2013.  The Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse is the third of three eclipses in a row.  This eclipse also involves a SuperMoon, when the Moon is as close as it ever gets to the Earth, and it’s in a straight alignment with the Sun and Earth. The SuperMoon makes this Lunar Eclipse extra potent and important.”

“The Moon controls the oceans and tides.  Our bodies are more than sixty percent water.  You will feel this powerful Lunar Eclipse in your physical body and in the Earth below your feet.  This Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse can feel like a soothing, healing balm on your aching wounds.  The Cosmic Mother Nurses her children back to full health and vitality. ”

“The Phoenix rises from the ashes of the past.  You, too, can recreate yourself and make a fresh start.  You can experience a Brilliant Breakthrough.  That is this Full Moon’s message.”

“Sagittarius empowers you stay on your path.  Even when the road twists and turns, you can feel vibrant, healthy, and strong.  How do you do this?  Keep your mind engaged and focused on inspired action.  Invest your energy in healing yourself and introducing innovations into your life wherever you are ready for expansion and fulfillment.”

“Pluto and Uranus make an exact square (challenge) on May 20.  Pluto and Uranus require you to make significant changes.  For instance, many people are experiencing job changes, long-term relationship completions, health issues, and/or financial problems.  Is it any wonder you might feel overwhelmed or fearful due to the changes happening to you?  You are trying to maintain your balance, keep your spirits up, stay positive, and move forward.  This can be a daunting task.”

“Your current process (journey) is as important as your destination.  You can choose to be positive and proactive, even while your growth is swift and painful.  Attitude is everything.  The more willing you are to do inner work and take full responsibility for your choices and behavior, the more you can turn obstacles into stepping-stones.”

“Experiencing a Brilliant Breakthrough may require that you raise your standards and upgrade your relationships.  It is time to be in integrity and practice the Golden Rule, ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you…’”

Pluto and Uranus are reminding you that it is time to release resistance.  Are you resisting the changes taking place in your life?  Choose your battles wisely.  Hang loose on making judgments about what is happening—you may not have a full understanding of unfolding events.  What seems to be negative on the surface could turn out to be a blessing in disguise.  It might also be a Brilliant Breakthrough that leads you to a better, more fulfilling life.”

“You may find yourself at the end of a relationship, a job lay-off, or a business closing.  You can feel as though you are operating in crisis mode.  Circumstances for those around you may also seem to be falling apart.  In truth, you are in completion mode.  These events are not always graceful, so go easy on yourself.  You may feel less than a Self-master.  You may feel more like a lost soul.  Take comfort, for you are not alone.  Everyone is experiencing these life-changing events.”

“This experience may even feel like a death of sorts.  Each of us has our own timetable for this process…These stages seem most likely to manifest when 1) change is externally imposed, and 2) something of value is being lost or given up because of the change.  During the breakdown phase, you may find yourself in denial and depression.  You then move on to hope and acceptance.  You can jump around quite a bit in the first few months after endings…There are no short cuts to growth.  Please be patient with your process, and allow your life to unfold naturally.”

Wild Woman Sisterhood Short Meditation Guidance

At the full Moon, the energy builds and builds.. there's an explosive outgoing aspect to it. All of nature grows and is more vital at the full Moon. This surge allows you to take action on behalf of those new Moon intentions you set two week prior. A full Moon ritual might involve taking one solid step, with a symbolic action. And it can be a powerful time to release, cast out, unburden yourself, purge, etc. You celebrate your emergence by stepping out of an old skin, identity, behavior, attitude, relationship. The ritual helps you by marking this inner transformation in a formal way.

It is a Wonderful idea to keep a MoonJournal. If you do this, you get a change to recognize patterns. More and more we'll see how strongly we are connected with the Moon and her cycles.

FULL MOON Meditation:

Create a Nice atmosphere for yourselve, Light candles if you are at home and surround yourselve with the things that symbolize your intentions of that you like to see unfold. Notice what is coming tofull completion in your life now. What symbolic door are you closing? How will things end?  The Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius provides the perfect ground to let yourself move into this final phase of letting go. Don’t let the opportunity pass you by. You are giving Birth to a new self and the Birth process is stretching you in ways that you have not experienced before. Think of yourself in training for the higher frequency and expensive energy emerging on the planet.

Be still.. go inside yourselve and let everything around you go. Your Work, your thoughts. Just Be in this moment and relax!

Listen to this Video -By Anu Shi Asta- if you like to be Guided in your Meditation:

It’s a dance! A balancing of pressure and surrender and the Sun’s shift into Gemini is just the energy we need to lighten the dense quality of our physicality so more miraculous energies of the invisible world can be made manifest through each of us..
…Everything will be amplified during this eclipse period, so let’s consciously put forth our thoughts, prayers, intentions, and visualizations to activate the highest good for all and the best possible future.

A Blessed Loving Beautiful Full Moon every One!

Love to all

♥ May we all expand beyond our limitations ♥

If you want to Change the World.. Love yourself

If you want to Change the World.. Love yourself
In response to two wonderful essays that circulates widely, the first titled:
If you want to change the world...love a woman
and the 2nd If you want to change the world...love a man

Here is a precursor to the others, by Jacqui Lalita:

If you want to Change the World.. Love yourself

If you want to change the world.. Love yourself ~ really love your self
as though God/Creator/Great Spirit Divine were living and breathing
through every cell of your precious being!

Throw away your self loathing and inner judgements
and be still enough to listen
to your own heart beating.

Hear the Sacred Songs of Life throbbing within you,
the celestial rejoicing, the cosmic choirs of Creation
singing for you to succeed in Love.

Whether you have found someone to Love or not it is ok,
there is a Great Love within awaiting your courtship,
the truest True Love one can find with the power to spill majesty
into each and every one of your relations.

If you want to change the world…Love yourself
beyond your ego's attachment to who you are,
beyond your vanities for appearance
and desires to grasp onto fleeting youth
to the core of who you really are on this Earth,
a unique whole and holy Soul expressing the eternal glory of Love
through your every action, word, and thought.
There is only Love

One brilliant interconnected web of Creation
where nobody, even the most lonely among us,
are ever separate from each other.
Look deep into your own eyes and see - really see
you are perfect and lovable just the way you are.

If you want to change the world…Love yourself - Love all of yourself
including your alleged failures, flaws and misfortunes
see every challenge and each experience and being in your life as a teacher
helping you to rise above self-limiting beliefs
Practice forgiveness daily beginning with yourself
The gift of a new day is too precious to lose time holding onto stale resentments.
Replace worry, doubt and fear
with an absolute trust in the goodness of this world.

Dwell not in the past, fret not for the future,
but spend the wild Spark of Life on the present moment,
where the pureness of Now contains the answer to every how.
Count your blessings - always there are many!
And infinite more contained within every Sunset, Moonrise, cuddly creature,
home cooked meal, orange blossom, and ripe sweet fruit awaiting your attentive lips.

For all the suffering on this Earth, there is also so much beauty
bursting out of the seams if we are present enough to see it...
wild, fearless jungles, forests, deserts, and oceans full of brave creatures
whose will to live is so audacious
weary limbs can't help but Dance.

Dance for the tender majesty of it all
for the miracle of the seed that created you
and for making it this far,
for the dolphins leaping out of the ocean in this very moment
for the owls and shooting stars serenading the night
for the baby elephant being born on the Serengeti
for all the Grandmothers and Grandfathers
and the onces that taking their last breaths today
for the infinite cycles of Life, Death, Rebirth happening across this Earth
of which your Miraculous self is an integral part.

If you want to change the world…love yourself
Love and nourish your Body Temple with pure foods and clean water.
Be vigilant about knowing where your food is coming from
in these precarious times.
Grow gardens if you are able to
and grow the garden of your Soul with creativity.

Heal the world by Singing, Dancing, playing instruments, Painting,
Writing, Baking, Sculpting, Weaving and giving your Passions
the devotion they deserve.
Align yourself with right livelihood so that your earnings come from doing work you believe in.
If you have not yet found a job you love to do,
have patience and keep tuning in with prayer and meditation
until it becomes revealed to you.
Everyone has something unique to contribute to the benefit of all beings.
Expand your heart out to others and use your energies to continue developing yourself and unlocking latent talents.
Know that something marvelous awaits!

If you want to change the world…Love yourself
There is one path to Peace and that is the road within.
If you want the wars to end,
if you cannot bear another headline of nuclear power,
if you want every gun in this world
to begin to shoot sunflower seeds instead of bullets
so that wide fields of flowers may bloom where once there was killing,
first lay down the sword you have used against your own self for so long
and make peace with who you are right here, right now.

Embrace your shadow, for everyone has one
Find acceptance of yourself
and reach towards the mighty and towering heights
to the fullness of your Being
back to the garden of Eden that is our home for this blessed moment of time,
a home for us to celebrate, connect in kindness,
and remember the Divinity from which we've come.

Love yourself equal to all others, neither greater
nor less than any other living being
Be gentle with yourself with tender care and compassion
and behold the way this self love uplifts all your relations.
When a mate appears, or if you are already in union,
you may swim in the vast ocean of love without end,
and rather than needing anything from him or her,
you may simply reflect inner beauty and inspiration onto each other.

This journey of divine union is not always easy,
for sometimes soul mates bring our attention to those places
inside of us that need to change.
If you are rooted in Self Love and Self Mastery,
the Patience and Commitment to
do this brave life work together will be there to carry you
through the challenges
so that the ripe fruits of everlasting Love
can be savored with splendor.

If you want to change the world.. Love a woman.. Love a man…
but first Love yourself
from bare bones to benevolent Heart
so that you may give this man or woman
and every other Being you cross paths with,
the Adoration, Devotion and Unconditional Love
of your beautiful, bountiful soul.

Moontime and Ceremony

Moontime and Ceremony

Moontime refers to the time a woman bleeds during her menstrual cycle.

Through this cycle, women feel the effects of the moon, like we see the Earth affected by the ocean tides. There is some controversy and confusion about menstruating women and their participation in Native Ceremonies, such as the sweatlodge. Bleeding women sacrifice and give to the people during their moontimes, and through childbirth. The sweat ceremony was created for men to have a way to sacrifice and give for the people since they do not bleed monthly, or give birth. The Creator does not ask so much that women need to double their effort to be close to Spirit.

Much knowledge of women's traditions has been lost due to the genocide of Native peoples and the outlawing of their ceremonies. Before patriarchy, bleeding women were respected for their ability to nourish life and many still view this bleeding time as the first ceremony to connect with Spirit. Patriarchal society continues to view women's bleeding as a curse: dirty, and something to be ashamed of. These histories of oppression of Native Peoples and of Women leave us vulnerable to feelings of exclusion, anger, or hurt when ceremonies do not include mooning women in the same way as others.

Native Women used to routinely withdraw from their regular duties of childcare and food preparation to a moonlodge during their bleeding in order to rest and recieve dream guidance from the creator for their people. Some view this time of separation as a vision quest, a time to step away from daily tasks to focus on one's relationship with Spirit. The people honored and respected these bleeding women and their sacred role by covering the work otherwise done by them, and even cooking for them and protecting them...

Many of us are seeking to understand traditional viewpoints by praying about and learning their intent. Since many of us come from different cultures, we also seek to learn about native cultures and how to show respect for these traditions. We need new ways to balance the traditions with an understanding of ourselves as women, old and young: people with unique energies, gifts, and sensitivities, proud of ourselves and our place in the community. This is a time of rediscovery for women, and of ceremonies that will build upon our feminine and spiritual heritages, which will benefit all life.
Mooning women can join the sweat ceremony by being present during the sweat, at the fire or some other comfortable place. Important is to stay and join the group for the feast at the end of the Sweat Ceremony. May we together continue the search within, with elders, and with other women to dream and pray for understanding in order to honor all gifts given.

Listening to our Menstrual Cycle

The Importance of Listening to Our Menstrual Cycle

As a woman - your menstrual cycle is in so many ways an internal compass. Yet instead of teaching women about tuning into our own internal barometers - we have sent messages that our internal cycle is not important and can be ignored. There are no messages that women should for example rest during their periods - and allow time for introspection. There isn't room in our society for that. But perhaps we should consider looking at how women who came before us treated themselves during their cycles for some helpful pointers.

After all, we are doing so much of that in our industrialized lives. Going back - and reconnecting with how we once did things - realizing that in so many ways - we have thrown the baby out with the bath water. The more we teach woman about our menstrual cycle - not only will they be able to understand their bodies - they also will have a better relationship with their sexuality
and their fertility.

It is easy in today's world to forget that our menstrual cycle is all about reproduction. Mostly - young women are given information about cleaning up their cycles from tampons to deodorants. Many are given birth control pills which in some cases stops their monthly bleeding all together. There are not many mothers who teach their daughters about the Rhythms of their Cycles - and instill a sense of true self care and honoring as opposed to a fear of pregnancy, inconvenience and cleaning up. It is important for us to reconsider our relationship with our cycles - and take the time to not only understand our bodies - but connect with our inner compass.

A woman's monthly cycle has an emotional and sexual landscape whether we are trying to conceive in that month or not. Instead of walking over these natural patterns - let's try to understand them.

In the first week of our cycle - we begin counting on the first day of menstruation - which we will call "Day One". If you were trying to conceive it is a time of releasing hope of a new life. Even if you were not trying to conceive - this can be a dark time emotionally. Dr. Christiane Northrup talks about this being a time of letting go and releasing what does not serve us. It is a time where we let go of death and welcoming new life. Again - even if we are not literally thinking about creating a baby - it is very helpful emotionally to tune into this primal and biologically based emotions and see how they can be used to further your own experiences in your daily life. Some women use this time to turn inwards and grieve the losses in their life - you may cry easily as you let go of thoughts that no longer serve you. In many traditional cultures this time was honored in a woman's cycle and she was given the time to do her spiritual, private - internal work. In some societies - bleeding women gathered in a special place and did healing Ritual work. In many cultures the bleeding women gathered together during this time in a Moonlodge - it was not because they were dirty - they gathered because they were seen as powerful during this time of the month, and they had spiritual work to do. They were excused from their daily tasks so that they could the work that could only happen during this time of bleeding. In contrast - in today's culture - it is frowned on to take "Time off" to take care of ourselves during this time. There is no honoring of this time - instead it is seen as an inconvenience.

We would like to encourage women to revisit this in your own life - see what happens if you can create some space around your time of menstruation.
Try taking some time off around taking care of others, and reduce the time you give work. What might you be able to let go of that no longer serves you?

In the second week of our cycles - we are starting to feel better. We may have a new spring to our step - and start to feel sexual again. This is the part of cycle where we get closer to ovulation - and whether or not you are actually wanting to have a baby or not - your body is building towards creating a new life again. Our internal dance encourages us to be more social, more outgoing - and flirty with the world. Women send out signals whether we are aware or not - about our ability to breed (again - this happens whether or not we are trying to conceive or going through infertility). This is our most shameless part of the month! Our bodies are hopeful and want to attract men. There have been numerous scientific studies on this - and this is the time of the month that women dress sexier, are more likely to be approached by men as we lead up to what might be our peak fertility of the month. Our libidos may also be at the highest point of our monthly cycles as we approach ovulation. We are more likely to want sex during this week! Evolution is so smart.

Week Three of our cycle is the when we feel like slowing down. The time of the ovulation is passed - and the energy that we were sending out into the world to attract the bees to our flower has started to ebb - and starts to flow down and inward. As we move closer to menstruation our mood darkens and our energy continues to decline. Many women start to look inward at their lives - and check in with themselves about what is not working in their lives. Husbands calls this "Bitchiness" and teasingly will call ahead and ask if it is safe to come home from work! But it is normal for women to be more depressed, sad, tired and generally uninterested in social things. If we tuned into our own monthly calendar more - we might be more honoring of this place in our lives - and make room for it instead of dismissing our feelings as a passing mood. This is a time for self care - and working on creating less stress in your life. If you are in a relationship - it would be ideal if your partner could know that this could be a time you need more tenderness and love.

Week Four is when we go even deeper into that dark time - it might not be the best time to try and solve the problems that may come up for you - even if you may be very aware of them. This is not the best time for you to charge the castle even if you feel like it. The good news is that soon you will feel the relief and release of your menstruation - and the cycle starts again. This is a special dance that only women do. It's primal and is not served by being "cleaned up" and ignored. When we tune into our internal rhythm and honor it - we can only enhance our relationship to our sexuality, our fertility and our beautifully complex emotional landscape..

To Love a Woman

 To Love a Woman

If you want to change the world…
Love a woman-really Love her.

Find the one who calls to your soul, who doesn’t make sense.
Throw away your check list and put your ear to her heart and listen.

Hear the names, the prayers, the songs of every living thing - every winged one, every furry and scaled one, every underground and underwater one, every green and flowering one, every not yet born and dying one…Hear their melancholy praises back to the One who gave them life. If you haven’t heard your own name yet, you haven’t listened long enough. If your eyes aren’t filled with tears, if you aren’t bowing at her feet, you haven’t ever grieved having almost lost her.

If you want to change the world…
love a woman-one woman beyond yourself, beyond desire and reason,
beyond your male preferences for youth, beauty and variety and all your superficial
concepts of freedom.

We have given ourselves so many choices
we have forgotten that true liberation comes from standing in the middle of the Soul’s fire and burning through our resistance to Love.

-There is only One Goddess.
Look into Her eyes and see, really See!
if she is the one to bring the axe to your head..

If not, walk away. Right now!
Don’t waste time “trying.”
Know that your decision has nothing to do with her
because ultimately it’s not with who,
but 'when' we choose to surrender.

If you want to change the world… Love a woman.
Love her for life-beyond your fear of death,
beyond your fear of being manipulated
by the Mother inside your head.
Don’t tell her you’re willing to die for her.
Say you’re willing to LIVE with her,
plant trees with her and watch them grow.
Be her hero by telling her how Beautiful she is in her vulnerable Majesty,
by helping her to remember every day that she IS Goddess
through your adoration and devotion.

If you want to change the world… Love a woman

in all her faces, through all her seasons
and she will Heal you of your schizophrenia-
your double-mindedness and half-heartedness
which keeps your Spirit and body separate-
which keeps you alone and always looking outside your Self for something
to make your life worth living.

There will always be another woman..
Soon the new shiny one will become the old dull one
and you’ll grow restless again, trading in women like cars,
trading in the Goddess for the latest object of your desire.

Man doesn’t need any more choices.
What man needs is Woman, the Way of the Feminine,
of Patience and Compassion, non-seeking, non-doing,
of breathing in one place and sinking deep intertwining roots
strong enough to hold the Earth together
while she shakes off the cement and steel from her skin.

If you want to change the world… love a woman, just One woman.

Love and protect her as if she is the last holy vessel.
Love her through her fear of abandonment
which she has been holding for all of humanity.
No, the wound is not hers to heal alone.
No, she is not weak in her codependence.
If you want to change the world… Love a woman
all the way through until she believes you,
until her instincts, her Visions, her Voice, her Art, her Passion,
her Wildness have returned to her.
Until she is a force of Love -more powerful than all the political media
demons who seek to devalue and destroy her.

If you want to change the world,
lay down your causes, your guns and protest signs.
Lay down your inner war, your righteous anger
and Love a woman…beyond all of your striving for greatness,
beyond your tenacious quest for Enlightenment.
The holy grail stands before you
if you would only take her in your arms
and let go of searching for something beyond this intimacy.

What if peace is a dream which can only be re-membered
through the heart of Woman?
What if a man’s love for Woman, the Way of the Feminine
is the key to opening Her heart?

If you want to change the world…Love a woman

to the depths of your shadow,
to the highest reaches of your Being,
back to the Garden where you first met her,
to the gateway of the Rainbow realm
where you walk through together as Light as One,
to the point of no return,
to the ends and the beginning of a new Earth.

To Love a man

To Love a man
If you want to change the world Love a man; really love him

 Choose the one whose Soul calls to yours clearly who sees you;
who is brave enough to be afraid

Accept his hand and guide him gently to your hearts blood
Where he can feel your warmth upon him and rest there
And burn his heavy load in your fires

Look into his eyes look deep within and see what lies dormant or awake or shy or expectant there
Look into his eyes and see there his fathers and grandfathers and all the wars and madness their Spirits fought in some distant land, some distant time
Look upon their pains and struggles and torments and guilt; without judgment
And let it all go

Feel into his ancestral burden
And know that what he seeks is safe refuge in you
Let him melt in your steady gaze
And know that you need not mirror that rage
Because you have a womb, a sweet, deep gateway to wash and renew
old wounds

If you want to change the world Love a man, really Love him
Sit before him, in the full majesty of your woman in the breath of your vulnerability

In the play of your child innocence in the depths of your death
Flowering invitation, softly yielding, allowing his power as a man
To step forward towards you…and swim in the Earth’s womb,
 in silent knowing, together

And when he retreats…because he will…flees in fear to his cave…
Gather your grandmothers around you…envelope in their wisdoms
Hear their gentle shusshhhed whispers,
calm your frightened girls’ heart
Urging you to be still…and wait patiently for his return
Sit and sing by his door, a song of remembrance,
that he may be soothed, once more

If you want to change the world, love a man, really love him
Do not coax out his little boy
With guiles and wiles and seduction and trickery
Only to lure him…to a web of destruction
To a place of chaos and hatred
More terrible than any war fought by his brothers
This is not feminine this is revenge
This is the poison of the twisted lines
Of the abuse of the ages, the rape of our world
And this gives no power to woman it reduces her as she cuts off his balls
And it kills us all

And whether his mother held him or could not
Show him the true mother now
Hold him and guide him in your grace and your depth
Smoldering in the center of the Earth’s core
Do not punish him for his wounds that you think
don’t meet your needs or criteria
Cry for him sweet rivers
Bleed it all back home

If you want to change the world love a man, really love him
Love him enough to be naked and free
Love him enough to open your body and soul to the cycle of birth and of death
And thank him for the opportunity

As you dance together through the raging winds and silent woods
Be brave enough to be fragile and let him drink in the soft, heady petals of your being
Let him know he can hold you stand up and protect you
Fall back into his arms and trust him to catch you
Even if you’ve been dropped a thousand times before
Teach him how to surrender by surrendering yourself
And merge into the sweet nothing, of this worlds’ heart

If you want to change the world, love a man, really love him
Encourage him, feed him, allow him, hear him, hold him, heal him
And you, in turn, will be nourished and supported and protected
By strong arms and clear thoughts and focused arrows
Because he can, if you let him, be all that you dream
