I’m an herbalist living in SF who felt a longing to connect with other women wanting to create a sacred circle of women in support of each other and our visions.
Thus our mooncircle group formed here in SF over a year ago and we meet in the bay area on the full moon, rotating at a different woman's house or sometimes the beach (if it's warm enough!) every month.
We are a small group of gals who gather in a sacred circle in support of each other expressing our gifts- we sometimes choose a different theme each month depending on who's hosting and what she'd like to express. Or the theme can be an open, collective creation.
We've done meditation, dance, poetry, artwork, watching a documentary and whatever strikes your fancy. The circle is open to whomever feels the call, often we'll create a collective altar and speak our intentions for ourselves into a fire or water bowl.
Being a witness to each other and how we want to be in the world, what we want to create, what we desire and what we release is held in the sacred container of the circle. It is a very empowering experience when we chant a sacred song and honor our intentions and each other. Our intentions actually do manifest!
If you feel called, we would love to have you join us and share your light with the circle. We always have a potluck and meet on the evening of the full moon or sometimes the weekend evening closest to it. Please contact me for more info. Namaste! anna@moonsisterherbs.com
